How often do you read that ‘if I had been any closer I would have died` or on the box a commentator says  ‘if the bleeding hadn’t been stopped the patient would now be dead’ or some such rubbish.

Does it ever occur to these bozos that they weren’t closer, the bleeding was stopped and guess what, nothing happened.

So, here is my experience to end all experiences. I went to pick up my son Johnny from school and he complained that they didn't have chips for lunch and he was a bit upset. Why was that? Oh no!! If the jumbo jet flying overhead had total engine failure it would have crashed on the school destroying the kitchen; which is next to an old folks home; adjacent to a large city hospital. There was a rumble, indicating that an earthquake was about to happen. Even worse, that earthquake will be under the sea creating the biggest tsunami ever recorded. But thank the Lord the plane did not have engine failure, the rumble was an underpowered truck going by so no tsunami as there was no earthquake.

It was a tube of Smarties that actually saved the day. Provided Mum had her purse with her or in other words another rubbish plot is about to  unfurl.
